Who operates GymBuddies

GymBuddies^TM is operated by DXB RIANESSENCE SERVICES LLP. This page applies to GymBuddies^TM Society, GymBuddies^TM Trainer, GymBuddies^TM Arena and related GymBuddies^TM accounts.

How to request deletion

1. In the app: open the account-deletion option and submit the request while signed in.
2. By email: email privacy@gymbuddies.in from the email address registered to your account. Include your full name and the GymBuddies^TM app you use.

Never send us your password, one-time password, authentication code or payment-card details.

Verification and timing

We may contact you through your registered email address to verify that the request is genuine. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless applicable law permits or requires a longer period.

If you are the sole administrator of a society or organisation, an administrator handover may be required to keep essential records and services operational. Your deletion request will still be recorded and processed.

What happens to your data

Subject to verification and applicable law, we delete or deactivate data that is no longer required, including:

• Account credentials, active sessions and push-notification tokens.
• Contact and profile information, profile media and optional personal preferences.
• Active organisation membership and unit links, where they are no longer required.
• Other personal data that can be safely removed without damaging records that must be retained.

Where historical bookings, attendance, events or operational records must remain accurate, we may anonymise them instead of deleting the underlying transaction.

Data we may retain

We may retain limited information where necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution or audit purposes. This may include:

• Evidence of Terms and Privacy Policy acceptance.
• Financial, tax and audit records required by law.
• Safety, conduct, security and fault-report records where retention is necessary.
• Records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Retained data is restricted, used only for the permitted purpose and kept only for the necessary retention period.

Active commitments

Before deletion is completed, active bookings, subscriptions, event responsibilities, waitlist offers or administrator duties may need to be cancelled, transferred or closed. We will tell you if action is required.
